Øresund Cup 2007

The 23th edition of Øresund cup will be held on October 27, 2007 in central Helsingør at the main library (Helsingør Hovedbibliotek).

Øresund cup is organized together by Möllan Rouge from Sweden, Copenhagen Ice Breakers and Global Ishockey from Denmark. The tournament is part of the World Table Hockey Tour, and is famous for always having the best players of the world. Therefore the winner of Øresund cup allways recieves high world ranking points.

The tournament begins at 11:00 and should end around 21:00.

Registration
Register by e-mail to karnstan2k@hotmail.com. Licensed swedish players should register through "webbanmälan". Deadline for registrations/cancellations is Tuesday, Octoberer 23, 2007.

Entry fee
The entry fee for Øresund cup is set to 80 DKK, 10 € or 100 SEK. Entry fee is to be paid on the day of the tournament. We will accept payment by cash in Danish Kroner, euro and Swedish Kronor.

Tournament series
Open series and Veteran series (for players born 1968 or earlier). Because of the limited time available, a player can not be guaranteed participation in both the Open series playoffs and the Veteran series.

Rules
A winner is awarded 2 points. A draw will give both players 1 point. The tournament will follow ITHF:s game rules and ITHF:s tournament rules. This includes placement of players in particular groups, in all group stages, will be decided by mutual matches before goal difference.

The tournament will use this sound.

At the venue there will be a limited number of normal size chairs to use.
